'The Crossing' is a promo that was produced to attract interest and sponsorship for a group of kite surfers attempting a world first, to cross the Irish Sea from Northern Ireland to West Cumbria, all in the name of charity. Wright Walker have filmed the attempt with the aim of producing a documentary. After nearly two years of planning the group achieved the crossing on 21st August 2010. Footage of the landing recorded by Wright Walker Productions was used as part of a broadcast news story on ITV.
